Deleting your data
How to ask LEVILLIO TECHNOLOGIES to delete personal data, and what happens next.
How to ask
- Email us at contact@levilliotechnologies.com with “Delete my data” in the subject.
- Tell us who you are. Write from the email address you use with us, or give the mobile number your PG has for you. Name the PG, hostel or business you are connected to.
- Say what to delete: your whole account, your details as a resident, an enquiry you sent, or your WhatsApp conversations with a business.
- Confirm it is you. To protect you, we may ask one question or send a code before we delete anything.
We reply to confirm we have your request, and again when the deletion is done.
What happens, depending on who you are
You use the platform for your business
We delete your account, your staff logins and the data you stored, including your residents' records, and send you a final copy first if you ask for one.
You are, or were, a resident
Your PG owner decides what is kept about you, so we pass your request to them and help them complete it. Your name, phone, email and emergency contact are removed. The owner may need to keep bills and receipts for tax and accounting law; those are kept only as long as that law requires.
You sent an enquiry through a property's website
We delete the enquiry and the contact details you gave with it.
You messaged a business on WhatsApp through our platform
This feature is planned and not yet live. When it is, we will delete the messages and your phone number and profile name from that business's records with us. Messages also stay on your own phone and in WhatsApp under WhatsApp's own policies.
Businesses that connect WhatsApp
When a business disconnects its WhatsApp Business Account from the platform, we delete the access token Meta issued for it at once and stop receiving its messages. To also delete its stored message history, the business can email us as above.
What we may have to keep
We keep only what the law requires, such as tax invoices and records needed for a legal claim, and only for as long as required. Data in backups is overwritten as the backups expire.
More detail is in our privacy policy.
